Welcome Announcement

The welcome announcement is free service that can be added to your Tamar Telecommunications phone number, should you want to give a professional first impression to your callers.

The welcome announcement can also be used to notify your callers that calls are monitored, or to play a required legal announcement to the caller. This is commonly asked for by businesses that are regulated by the financial services authority.

Call Statistics

Managing your calls more effectively becomes easy with virtual telephone numbers from Tamar Telecommunications. One of the included free features is the call statistics package. Call statistics are very useful for tracking how well your advertising is working for you, as well as to see how busy you are and how many calls you may be missing.

The call statistics home page gives a snapshot of the current months calls so far for the account. This includes total calls this month, engaged calls, unanswered calls and the top ten numbers this month by volume of calls. Pie charts give a clear graphical representation of the current month’s calls.

Control Panel & App

The free number management online control panel allows changes to be made to numbers instantly 24/7.

The online control panel allows you to modify all your numbers with ease, as well as for viewing call statistic reports, all at a click of a button.

There is also a mobile app version of the online control panel, allowing customers to manage their numbers on the go via their mobile phone. Further details can be found on our mobile app page.

Hunt Groups

Hunt groups can be set to divert to different telephone numbers, based on the time and day of the week.

A plumber for example may want to have calls diverted to his office, where his admin worker can take his calls during office hours. However, as the plumber offers an out of hours emergency call out service, the hunt group can be set to divert calls outside of office hours directly to his mobile.

Timed Call Diverts

Hunt groups using timed diverts can be set to divert to different telephone numbers, based on the time and day of the week. i

Holiday Settings

Holiday Settings allow you to have your calls automatically diverted differently on specified dates.

If you are closed on bank holidays for example, you may want your calls to be diverted to a different voicemail box informing your callers that you are closed on bank holidays. The caller can then leave a message for you or call back when you are next open.

If you are on call on bank holidays, the holiday settings would allow you to have your calls automatically diverted to your mobile, instead of ringing out in the unstaffed office on bank holidays, or any other day that you add to your holiday settings list.

The holiday settings have predefined lists of public holidays, which can be used if required. You can also add and remove your own dates for holidays/annual shutdowns. You can view an up to date list of UK bank holidays here.

Blacklists

The online control panel allows users to blacklist and block incoming calls from certain numbers, international numbers or a range of numbers, for example all numbers starting 0871.

This is ideal for blocking nuisance calls or callers that you don’t want to speak with.

The blacklist enables you to add a list of numbers and comments via your online account to block.

Voicemail

The voicemail feature can be added to numbers if required and can be set to play a greeting and allow the caller to leave a message. Alternatively the voicemail can be set as an announcement only, playing a greeting to the caller and then hanging up at the end of the greeting, without the option to leave a message.

Missed Call Alerts

Our free missed call alerts service alerts you of calls to your Tamar Telecom numbers where the call went unanswered, engaged and if there was a fault with your existing landline or mobile that the call was diverted to.

The missed call alerts can be sent to one or more email address as soon as the missed call ends. You can also receive push notifications for missed call alerts via our mobile app. This means that should you be engaged on the phone and unaware that someone tried to call; you could then return the call and avoid missing a new enquiry!

Anonymouse Call Rejection

If you are finding that you are receiving unsolicited calls, which are becoming a nuisance, you may want to consider blocking calls from withheld numbers with Anonymous Call Rejection ACR.

The anonymous call rejection ACR service can be enabled on specific numbers or all of your Tamar Telecommunications provided numbers.
